This policy explains what information Queeker collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the queeker.io website, Queeker POS, the Queeker Admin mobile app (iOS and Android), the Queeker web admin dashboard, and any customer-facing store apps or websites a retailer runs on Queeker.

1. Who we are

Queeker provides point-of-sale and store-management software to retailers such as supermarkets, grocery stores, and restaurants. We are the technology provider.

Each retailer that uses Queeker is a separate, independent business. The retailer is the merchant of record for its own sales and is responsible for the data it collects from its customers. When a retailer uses Queeker to store or process that data, Queeker acts on the retailer's behalf.

2. Information we collect

What we collect depends on which product you use.

Website (queeker.io): name, email, company, phone number, demo requests, and messages you send through our forms or live chat; plus technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, referring page, and pages viewed.
Staff products (Queeker POS, Queeker Admin app, web admin dashboard): username, authentication data, role and permissions, assigned stores, and device identifiers used for login and push notifications. We also process the operational data the retailer stores in Queeker, such as products, prices, invoices, sales, cash sessions, online orders, and staff chat with shoppers.
Shopper apps or websites run by a retailer: account, order, delivery, and chat data. This data belongs to the retailer. Queeker processes it on the retailer's behalf and under the retailer's instructions.

3. Push notifications

Queeker Admin may ask for permission to send notifications so staff can be alerted about new online orders and incoming customer chat messages. To deliver these notifications we store a device push token. That token is used only to send operational alerts to your device.

You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings. We never use push tokens for advertising.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

Operate, maintain, and improve our products.
Authenticate staff and enforce roles and store assignments.
Sync store data between POS terminals, the web admin, and the mobile app.
Send transactional alerts that the retailer enables (for example, new order or chat notifications).
Respond to demo, sales, and support requests.
Keep the service secure, including backups, audit logs, and fraud or abuse prevention.
Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Queeker POS and Queeker Admin do not track users across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes.

5. Cookies

The queeker.io website uses essential cookies and local storage needed for the site to work (for example, remembering your language and cookie preferences, and keeping a live-chat session open). We also use first-party analytics to count visits and understand which pages are viewed. This data is not shared with advertising networks.

Queeker POS, Queeker Admin, and the web admin dashboard use only the session and preference storage required to keep you signed in. They do not use advertising cookies.

6. Payments

Card payments taken at the register are processed by certified payment partners, including BridgePay Gateway and PayGuardian, together with the payment terminal. Card data is captured and encrypted by the terminal and the payment partner.

Queeker does not store full card numbers in Queeker POS, Queeker Admin, or the web admin dashboard.

7. Sharing

We share information only in the following situations:

With service providers that we need to run the product, such as hosting, database, email delivery, push-notification delivery, and payment gateways. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
With the retailer that owns the account. Store administrators can see the staff accounts and operational data of their own business.
When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Queeker, our customers, or others.

8. Retention

We keep account and operational data while the retailer remains a Queeker customer and for as long as needed afterwards for tax, accounting, security, and legal purposes. After that, we delete the data or anonymize it so it can no longer identify a person.

Website inquiries and chat messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of the conversation.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under certain US state privacy laws, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or receive a copy of it.

Store staff: please contact your store administrator first. The retailer manages staff accounts and can update or remove them.
Shoppers: please contact the store you ordered from. The retailer controls your order and account data.
Anyone: you may email contact@queeker.io and we will help route or fulfill your request.

10. Children

Queeker products are built for businesses and their authorized adult staff. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

Queeker is operated from the United States. Information we collect may be stored and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or products after an update means you accept the revised policy.
